Herd-Boss Cake Feeder
Herd Boss Feeders are essential part of any cow calf operation. It allows for supplementing cows with different cost effective by products to lengthen pasture life and increase weaning weights on calves.
Herd Boss Feeders utilize a chain conveyor unloading system versus others utilizing augers. With the chain conveyor system your feed will not bridge, and it allows for many commodity types. Product fed through this feeder wet/dry distillers grain, cotton seed, cotton trash, silage, ear corn, and ground hay etc.
The small feeder is rated at 41 cu. ft. and the large has 78 cu. ft. but can also add extensions to the large model. Extensions can also be added to the large model to get up to 124 cubic ft. Feeders have a powerful electric over hydraulic power unit, hard-wired remote control.
